Samuel Daniell (3)
Banker of Yeovil
Born in Yeovil around 1750, Samuel Daniell (3) was the eldest of the three sons of Yeovil banker John Daniell the Elder (c1728-1797) and Elizabeth née Goodford (d1763). Samuel (3)'s siblings were Yeovil banker John Daniell the Younger (1758-1818) and George (1759-1822) who became a surgeon of Exeter, Devon.
On 24 November 1777, at St Mary Arches, Exeter, Devon, Samuel married Mellena (also recorded as Mellana and Melloni) Glass. She was the youngest of the four daughters of Thomas Glass (1709-1786) and Mary née Hodges (1714-1770) of Exeter, Devon. They had no issue.
Samuel Daniell (3) died on 6 June 1798 and was buried at St John's church on 18 June 1798.

meadows
adjoining
(Subject to the
Yearly Rent of

Orchard I lately
had in exchange
