Seen here is the junction of Vicarage Street and Silver Street. Well, admittedly after they began demolishing Vicarage Street it became a bit of an eyesore and, in truth, the lower picture is more attractive that the upper for a change.

Having said that, I used to like Vicarage Street and spent many a happy hour with Ralph Tucker and Roy 'Sewer King' Brown in the council's 'town yard' depot next to the Methodist church in the late 1970's.
