Thomas Gaylard of Preston, in the parish of Yevyll, Husbandman.
To be buried in the churchyard of Yevell.
To the mother church of Welles iiijd [4d] To the chapel of Preston iijs iiijd [3s 4d]. To the high altar of the church of Yevyll xijd [12d].
To Johan my wife all her apparel, the bed she brought with her, with the appurtenances belonging thereto, and all our household stuff that she brought with her own money; also to her the sum and value of xiijli vjs viijd [£13 6s 8d] to be paid of my own goods and to be delivered by my mother Jone Gaylard, Lyonell Harryson and John Pawly, and the said Johan my wife to be clearly avoided from all bargains, tenements or other goods.
The residue to my mother Jone Gaylard, whom I make executrix.
