In the Name of God Amen theis three and twentieth day of July In the yeare of our Lord God one thousand six hundred eighty two I Joseph King of Yeovell in the County of Sommersett Gentleman being weake and ill of body but thankes be given therefore unto Almighty God being of a sound perfect and disposing minde memory and understanding Doe make and ordaine this my last will and testament in manner and forme following that is to say first I Committ my Soule into the hands of Almighty God hopeing to bee [saved ?] in and through the meritts death and passion of Jesus Christ my most mercifull Saviour and redeemer and my bodie to bee buried at the discrecon of my Exe[curi]x hereafter mentioned now as to that worldly estate wherewith it hath pleased God to blesse mee I bequeath the same in manner following Imprimis I give and bequeath unto my loveing wife Zippora King all my lands houses tenements and hereditaments whatsoever scituate and lyeing within the Counties of Som[er]sett and Dorsett and all the profitts thereof untill my Sonne John King shall attaine his age of one and twenty yeares upon Condition that shee educate my children and pay my debts if my personall estate shall doe it And afterwards I give all my said lands and tenements in Som[er]settsheire and Dorsettsheire unto my said Sonne John King and to the heirs of his body and for want of such issue to my sonne Joseph King and to the heires of his boy and for want of such Issue then I give the said lands and tenements unto my daughter Theodosia and to the heires of her body Item my will is that after my Sonne John comes of the age of one and twenty yeares that then my wife shall enjoy to her owne use dureing her life the moietie or halfe part of the profitts of all my said lands Item I will that my daughter Theodosia shall have and enjoy to her use all my chattell leases when shee comes to Sixteene yeares of age or married with the consent of her mother but if my said daughter shall happen to dye before her said age of Sixteene or marriage as aforesaid then I will that all my leases shall goe and bee to the use of my said Sonne Joseph and if hee dye before hee comes to one and twenty yeares of age then my will is that my Sonne John shall have them to his owne use Lastly I doe make my said wife Zippora sole Executrix of this my last will and testament and I desire my loveing freinds Thomas Cooper and George Cooper to bee aiding and assisting of my wife in and about the performance of this my last will and for their paines therein I give each of them a paire of gloves of tenne shillings price And my further will and meaning is that my sonne John King shall pay out of my said Lands unto my Sonne Joseph King after my sonne Joseph shall attaine his age of one and twenty yeares the summe of Forty pounds a yeare duringe my sonne Josephs life by four quarterly payments and that without any abatement for taxes or other imposicons my further will is that my sonne John King shall pay my Sonne Joseph but twenty pounds a yeare thereof during my wives life In witness whereof I the said Joseph King have hereunto sett my hand and seale to this my last will and testament the day and yeare first above menconed
