1740 Will of Robert Hayne

This is the last Will and Testament of me Robert Hayne of Yeovil in the County of Somerset Glover  Imprimis I give unto my Son Jeremiah Hayne one Hundred pounds I also give unto my Daughter Hannah Hayne one Hundred pounds which said Legacies my Will is shall be paid to my said Children at the respective ages of one and twenty years  I give unto my dear Wife Sarah Hayne All the Rest and Residue of my Goods and Chattles whatsoever and I do hereby make and appoint the said Sarah Hayne whole and sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament Subscribed my name and set my seal this Twentieth day of March in the year of our Lord One Thousand seven Hundred and Forty

Signed Sealed Published and Declared by the said Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who have subscribed our names as Witnesses thereof in his presence

This Will was proved at London the fourteenth day of April in the year of our Lord one Thousand Seven Hundred and Forty one before the Right Worshipful John Bettesworth Doctor of laws Master Keeper or Commissary of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury lawfully constituted by the oath of Sarah Hayne Widow the Relict  of the deceased and Sole Executrix named in the said Will to whom Administration was granted of all and singular the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased being first Sworn by Commission duly to Administer
