I
Thomas Francis the Elder of Yeovil in the
County of
Somerset Butcher
being weak of
body but of a
sound and
disposing mind
and memory
thanks be given
to Almighty God
for the same do
make this my
last Will and
Testament in
manner following
that is to say I
give devise and
bequeath all
those three
Closes called
Ryalls which
I lately
purchased of
George Davy
situate lying
and being in
Yeovil aforesaid
unto my Son
Thomas Francis
and his Heirs
and Assigns for
ever I give
devise and
bequeath all
that my Close
called
Slight
within the
Parish of Yeovil
aforesaid unto
my Son John
Francis his
Heirs and
Assigns for ever
Chargeable
nevertheless
with the Payment
of the Sum of
sixty Pounds to
my said Son
Thomas Francis
within twelve
Months after my
decease I give
devise and
bequeath all
those my two
Closes called
Tomsons Close
and the Waters
of Strife within
the said Parish
of Yeovil unto
my Son Charles
Francis his
Heirs and
Assigns for ever
I give unto my
Son Philip
Francis the Sum
of one hundred
Pounds I give
unto my Son
Edward Francis
the Sum of one
hundred Pounds I
give unto my Son
Henry Francis
the Sum of two
hundred Pounds I
give unto my
Daughter Betty
Francis the Sum
of one hundred
Pounds And to my
two Grand
Children
Elizabeth and
Judith Francis
the Sum of ten
Pounds each
which said
several Legacies
shall be paid
within three
Years after my
decease by my
Executor herein
after named Also
I give unto my
Daughter Mary
Perry the Sum of
one Pound and
five Shillings
Yearly to
commence in
eight years
after my decease
to be paid by my
said Executor
Also all the
rest and residue
of my Personal
Estate Goods and
Chattels of what
nature or kind
soever not
herein before by
me given I give
devise and
bequeath unto my
said Son Charles
Francis whom I

full whole and

this my Will
hereby revoking
all former Wills
by me at any
