1840 Will of Elizabeth Henning

Widow

 

I Elizabeth Henning of Yeovil in the County of Somerset Widow being of sound and disposing mind do make publick [sic] and declare this my last Will in manner following that is to say I give devise and bequeath all my goods and chattels and all I am possessed unto my daughter Elizabeth Henning for her use benefit and disposal and for my said daughter Elizabeth to pay my daughter Mary Feaver the sum of ten pounds a year as long as she lives and after her decease my daughter Elizabeth or her heirs or assigns to pay my two grand children Jane and Henry Feaver the children of my daughter Mary the sum of one hundred pounds each when they shall attain the age of twenty one and I make the said Elizabeth Henning sole Executrix of this my Will February 17 1840 Signed sealed and delivered by the said

Harriet Henning     Jemima Wellman     Elizabeth Helyer West

 

Appeared Personally Harriet Henning of Piddletrenthide in the County of Dorset now residing at Dorchester in the said County Spinster and made Oath that she is one of the subscribed witnesses to the last Will and Testament of Elizabeth Henning late of Yeovil in the County of Somerset Widow deceased the said Will being now hereunto annexed and bearing date the Seventeenth day of February one thousand eight hundred and forty And she further made Oath that on the said Seventeenth day of February one thousand eight hundred and forty the said Testatrix duly executed the said Will by signing her name at the foot or end thereof in the presence of this deponent and of Jemima Wellman and Elizabeth Helyer West the other subscribed witnesses thereto all of whom were present at the same time and this deponent and the said Jemima Wellman and Elizabeth Helyer West thereupon attested and subscribed the said Will in the presence of the said Testatrix

On the twenty second day of June 1844 the said Harriet Henning was duly sworn to the truth of this Affidavit by virtue of the annexed Commission Before me

George West Rector of Dorchester Holy Trinity With Frome Whitfield thereto annexed Dorset

 

Proved at London 29th June 1844 before the Judge by the Oath of Elizabeth Henning Spinster the daughter the sole Executrix to whom Adm[inistrati]on was granted having been first sworn by Commission duly to administer
