The glove manufacturing company of George Mayo & John Ryall was listed in Pigot's Directory of 1824. George Mayo Jnr lived in Kingston, in the house his father had built, later to be called Swallowcliffe House. John Ryall lived in Old Sarum House in Princes Street and their company had a dressing yard in Preston Road.
At the present time nothing further is known.
