I lived in West Hendford from 1974 to 1980 and walked along here every day but, to be honest I really can't remember it looking like either of these photos, so I'm guessing the top one was demolished before then and the bottom one hadn't been built. Facing us in both photographs is the Three Choughs Hotel.
