St John's Road

An estate pub serving the St Johns Road area. It was built in the late 1960s / early 1970s and in its early days did excellent food - I used to eat here almost weekly in the late 1970s.

Spot the difference between the photo on the matchbox and the photo in the gallery below (Hint - huge extension tacked onto the front, facing St Johns Road).

In common with most estate pubs is has a very 'local' clientele. Not really much more to be said.
