St John's Road
An estate pub
serving the St
Johns Road area.
It was built in
the late 1960s /
early 1970s and
in its early
days did
excellent food -
I used to eat
here almost
weekly
in the late
1970s.
Spot the difference between the photo on the matchbox and the photo in the gallery below (Hint - huge extension tacked onto the front, facing St Johns Road).
In common with most estate pubs is has a very 'local' clientele. Not really much more to be said.
